My dad does my car repairs and maintenance. His hands are always a giant mess when he's finished and I always ask him to wear gloves and he says he always forgets. Anyway, all that mechanic's mess goes into the water too. I wonder what that does to your chemicals and treating process.

This is so fascinating. Thanks Borr, the chemist!

Lol. Don't think for an instant that I'm some kind of expert or specialist. I'm a water plant operator. I get paid to run the push-em, pull-em machine. The state of Kentucky requirements to get a Class III plant operator's license is to work at least three years in a Class III plant and then pass a multiple choice test after 3 days of classroom instruction. The hardest part of the test is the math, and that's just sixth grade algebra. I was able to get out of two of the three years because I had plenty of college hours...and even then I was an English major. I know exactly what I need to know not to clean water and fill out a ponderous amount of paperwork. Anything more than that I've learned from trade magazines and personal research. Good amount of my week is spent mowing the grounds.

As far as contamination from doing oil changes, yes, that is a worry but not a great big one. Realize, that most of what goes down the drain does not make it back into the primary water source. It travels on out to sea. This why the world is starting to experience fresh water sources. We take water out of a fresh water source, clean it up for human consumption, dirty it right back up, and put it down the drain. From there, it is either expelled into a stream (which eventually leads to the ocean) or is diverted to a sewage plant where it is cleaned up enough for nature and then expelled into a stream (where it eventually leads to the ocean). Besides the environmental impacts of all the contaminants on the ocean, once that fresh water is in the ocean it's no longer capable of being recycled back into drinking water. From everything I've read, desalinization for grand scale drinking water purposes won't be feasible until carbon nanotube filtration tech becomes economical.

That gives me an idea that ties in with the thread. We could come up with a Radio Trainwreck drinking game. For example, every time Michael says he's "going to have a pee" it's a double shot of some 80 proof whiskey. That alone should get us pretty drunk. ;D

I played along with the drinking game but I traded the line "going to have a pee" with the word "the".  I just woke up on the floor many hours later and realized that I WON!
 but in 5 hours....I lost

Imagine a kirsty alley with a mullet wearing this in line, with flip flops, in front of you. This is what I was trying to describe. Good show Michael. I think the Nabila moments were the highlights.

Question: Can you attest to Kirstie's current weight before I visualize this? My neurons are very sensitive, don't ya know.
As for Nabila, yes! I've as yet still only had a chance to listen to the first of the new shows, I'm sad to say, but as soon as she spoke I wanted to hear more, more, smores! What a voice and accent. MV: Strap her to a chair and threaten to boil the cats unless she waxes poetic. Ooh, and have her read a poem or tomato soup recipe in her native tongue. Hopefully she won't sic her scary brothers on this little Heeb and post the video of my disemboweling on YouTube.

A billion pounds? I don't know. Actually, Kirsty has a bit of beauty to her compared to this blob I saw at Sam's club. I guess I deserve it for buying a large box of Splenda and vitamin water. I'm a douche lol.

I think what I like about Nabila isn't just her by herself, but I'm sure she's great and that's why MV loves her. I like the way MV talks to her. He's hilarious.

I forgot to thank you, Pirate, for this image. I laughed out loud when I read it.

Michael, listening further into your first show, I heard you use both jizz bucket (I stand corrected) and jizz bagel (a new one?), which made me guffaw till I added greenhouse gas to the atmosphere.

R
haha... did i do that?

i'm sitting here laughing at my own antics and i feel embarrassed by it.
