Dr. Jonathan Reed and the alien in the freezer
« on: August 22, 2010, 03:53:54 PM »
The screaming alien in the freezer show with Dr. Reed was a classic.  I remember the first time I heard this it scared the bejeezus out of me.  I was young enough when it happened (97?) that I almost believed him.  Listening to it again recently, it's obviously too insane to be real but his delivery was convincing, and he supposedly had a whole lot of evidence like tissue samples, pictures, artifacts.  Crazy.

He still swears that it happened, by the way.  Here's his website.

I hear people saying it is a hoax but you are right it sounds convincing. He also may have been to many of the native American herbs and he could have dreamed it all. Kind of like  Mel's Hole.

If i recall correctly, ufo watchdog had a great article debunking him. However, his story was amazing and would make a brilliant movie.

I really thought when I first heard it that maybe it was real and that it would be the solid proof that the alien/UFO community has lacked for so long.  I guess when it's late at night and you're all alone you can believe a lot of things.

He apparently fled to Mexico at some point.

Anyway, he does a marvelous job of debunking himself by demonstrating his abilty to use the alien's technology with a magic bracelet.  This is such obvious BS.

Hoax?Dr.Jonathan Reed Demonstrates Alien Technology(Link Artifact) Live

It's enevitable, the believable ones always finally just go one step too far and discredit themselves.  Like Mel Waters with the Basques in New Mexico and the weird seal creature that came out of the hole and telepathically communicated with them.

If you want to skip the BS, go to about 7:30 in the above video to see him activate the bracelet.

Yeah. I think so. That's him.  And there's pictures and info about the magic bracelet on his site.

His is a great story to listen to and to get into, and that bracelet video was pretty buried and hard to find the last time I looked. There sure are a bunch of naysayers. Aren't there always?

Wonder what Art's final take was. I seem to remember him decrying the guy as a fraud. Anybody else recall this?

i have wondered this myself.  i don't recall hearing art address any of it as time progressed.  however, i also have no recollection of art mentioning what a fraud his buddy ed dames is.

I've read that and the dreamer in me has wondered: could it be that some of the information on ufowatchdog is planted by some sort of agency of secrecy and disinformation? Wouldn't they somehow try to discredit him? Oh I don't know. I still enjoy the story.

Regardless of UFOwatchdog debunking him, I just can't believe anything Reed said after I saw the magic bracelet video.  It's fairytale shit.  Like somebody on Youtube said about it, "You mustn't wear the ring, Frodo."

Speaking of a disinformation agency, have you ever wondered if Art was a paid disinformation agent, put on the air to spread fantastical stories in order to throw us all off?

I never thought for a second that he was, but there are those that think he is exactly that.

I hadn't ever truly believed that Art was an agent... maybe a super secret freemason or something, but not government cia or anything else...

Jonathan Reed's story is much like the story of Jesus. You don't have to believe. But what if it's true?

hahaha

I heard Art say once on the air that he was a freemason.  Don't know if he was serious or not.  But so what if he is?  So was George Washington.  So was my Grandfather.  It's actually a really cool organization.  They let anyone who asks and passes a few 'tests' join.

And I hope I'm not going to hell for doubting Dr. Reed.  haha.

i have a few customers who are freemasons.  i've thought about joining just so people will think i'm a part of some international cabal ruling the world... when in reality, i'm just removing windows viruses.

I remember hearing Art confirm and later deny the whole freemason thing. That's why I used the term "super secret." No intended anti freemason stance here.

 :)

Oh wow, I didn't hear him deny it...  Cool!  He is a super-secret mason.  Maybe he's a Mormon double agent.

i'd never actually heard anyone address that, and i'd never given it any thought.  now that you mention it, the word "freemason" doesn't generate images of people with vaginas.

I agree that the "alien in the freezer" story would make a great movie.
I loved the story when I first heard it on Art's show and I even believed it - for about ten minutes. Then it became obvious to me that it was BS. I even sent Art a "fast-blast" which I'm very proud to say Art read on the air.  :)

Great entertaining story, though.  Aaaah, the good old days of engaging, mesmerizing interviews by Art.

Still 97.  I was cryogenically frozen in 1964.  They hooked me up to the internet in 2004 so I could buy stuff on Amazon.
