Slow loading pages

I have to assume other people are having the same problem. I've done everything on my end to make things snap the way they are supposed to.

Yes, earlier today.  But I thought it was just my wireless being spotty at work.  Seems to be fine now.

Interesting. Out of 10 times, 6 pages might take 5 seconds to load. A couple will take 10 or 15 seconds. One will load the way it's supposed to. Then one will take so long I go find something else to do.

Going back a page it snaps up like it's supposed to.

Wonder if anyone else will show up with the same problems. I've cleared the cookies, history, and cache. The only time I've been on a forum that was slow like this, they had some kind of embedded problem? Face book was loading on every page? But it showed up in the bar, "loading....". I haven't seen anything funky trying to load on the pages here. The little top just spins round and round, then the page comes up.

Safari. Didn't think of that, maybe I'll try Firefox. Don't like it though.   

Thanks for the help. Looks like it might be just me with the problem/annoyance. I figured it would be more widespread.

Very slow at times...

Using Firefox 3.6...  Other web sites no problems...

Firefox here.  Started getting really slow yesterday.  Still meandering.  Could only post once last night.  Kept giving me the message:  "could not find server."

I'm pretty much computer illiterate.  I can clear cookies, that's about it.  I usually wait a few days and things pick up again. 

Yes, I do run my virus detector thing and get updates.

This has degenerated into "What does the yellow light mean?" slow.

Things are snapin' and popin' on Safari today. Maybe it was the full moon messing things up.
