I have quoted the Koran.  I have shown special respect to Muslims who were deserving of special respect (Muslim instructors, for example) I don't have Muslim family I'm aware of -- but can't understand what that would say about who I am if I did.  I rather like the sound of Arabic chanting myself. Since when does the ability to catch and imitate an accent mean anything more than that you have a good ear?

I don't know WHAT the guy is, but he sure surrounds himself with a lot of people who he claims not to have any philosophical similarities to. I know everyone shoots down the "guilt by association" argument as being "silly", but if you hung out with Hitler or Bin Laden, wouldn't people assume you agreed with/participated in Nazism or terror-related activities?

You would be much more believable if you could spell correctly.  It shows a lack of forethought, knowledge and one makes the assumption that the rest of the post is sloppy, inarticulate logic, which it is.

It's like reading subway graffiti and expecting to gain knowledge.  Perhaps there is a more appropriate forum for your opinions.  Perhaps you're just xenophobic, (look it up), 'strange', non-white, foreigners, is that what you're really afraid of?

Hmmm - you may have a point.  I believe it began here because the issue of the birth certificate was discussed on c2c.  The problem is that every time I try to move a thread - it seems to just not be here any more.

Stupid too, because you don't even understand that even if Obama had been born outside the USA (which he wasn't), it wouldn't matter because his mother was an American citizen. Because of this, he would automatically be an American citizen too no matter where he was born and no matter what his father's citizenship was. Two of my kids were born outside of the USA, and they are American citizens.

P.S.: People who graduated from high school spell the word this way: "ineligible".

I'll accept the insane and hate-filled part, but I draw the line at uneducated! Things are a bit more involved for citizenship regarding potential presidents than it is for the rest of us. The 14th Amendment requirement is that a president must be a "natural born" citizen, and that requires that the child's father must at one time have been a legal resident of the U.S. (I know, it sounds sexist, but there it is...) There are lots of other ins and outs because statute law since the late 18th century has muddied the waters quite a lot. I remember researching this for a high school research paper on Chester A. Arthur who had similar problems to those Obama faces. I don't care all that much about this one way or the other, but did want to chime in by saying that this topic is a good deal more complicated than lots of folks realize.

And regardless of how complicated it is, it's irrelevant--Obama was born in Hawaii, which, the last time I heard, is part of the USA. Of course it's not part of muddel and Sarah Palin's "real America" where people handle snakes, speak in tongues, drive pick ups, own assault rifles and chew tobacco, but it's still America, the country that anyone with an ounce of brains knows Obama was born in. It's all well documented, and anyone who actually wants to know the story can easily find plenty of information to verify it. Just because you want to believe something doesn't make it true.

Sorry to use a lot of big words, muddel. Maybe you can go to a bookstore and buy a dictionary. While you're at it, you might want to look at some other books. They're full of information about things that you probably know nothing about. Be careful though, some of it might be troubling and confusing to you. You might discover that the crap you are polluting this web site with is nothing more than idiotic gibberish.
