dunno if it will work or not, but it's a good chance it might. Always can get a refund if it doesn't though. VLC is like the swiss army knife of stream and video formats

Xiialive lite.

Just search for art bell inside the app and coastgab will come up.

As you were.

it depends on what and how the content is being streamed, what browser you have, and at least two other variables.

1  install a html 5 browser like safari
2. register the mime types properly
3. install the quick time plug-in and flash

vlc will work but tends to be bloated for mobile unless you hack your own.

ok i got Xiialive lite . it trys to connect to the stream but never does. just  a sound like a ping pong ball bouncing while it trys. same thing on another art bell stream site. eventually it times out and quits trying.
i have a 2.2 android htc evo 4g shift. any ideas?
it does say unknown and mpeg and shows kbps. guessing it's not an mpeg,
(ANDROID MEDIA FRAMEWORK FAILED)

Yup, using lite. It's free, and thus far I've found no reason to buy the paid version.

WTF did your post have to do with listening to a shoutcast stream on a mobile Android device?  Your post was read.  I'm sure.  It just wasn't particularly relevant or observant of the original question.
