User-uploaded avatars are now allowed to be approximately 25% larger than before. All you need to do is to go into your profile, upload the avatar again, and it will resize to the new allowance. Avatars which are selected by providing a URL to the avatar on another server are still bound by the original avatar size restrictions. So, if you're getting the image from another site, I'd recommend that you first download the image to your computer, then upload it to our server in the profile settings so that you can take advantage of the new size allowance.
