i saw a report yesterday that the "dispersant" solution that they're dumping onto the surface of the gulf is merely causing the chemical composition of the spill to break down into smaller droplets, which subsequently results in the oil going into solution with the water rather than float on top of it.  baaaad news.

and by the way... i think the way to future-proof ourselves from situations like this is to stop pushing oil companies to drill miles offshore in 5000+ feet of water.  there is plenty of oil to be drilled on land and/or shallow waters.  it's just a matter of getting around the environmental alarmists who have no grasp of reality (like the fraudulent al gore).

     First guest was Dr. Andrew Wakefield on the connection between autism and vaccines.  Wasn't this debunked recently? 

Yeah I remembering hearing about the whole vaccine/autism connection being disproved. It was all over mainstream media a couple months ago I think. I was listening to the first hour of this show in the background while I was working, but I can't recall Noory asking him about these recent revelations... Did I miss it, or was Noory so out of touch that he didn't ask the guy about this?

    Author David Black on how electricity might be killing us, with a cameo appearance by Richard Dreyfuss who disappointed George by stating his disbelief in UFOs.  Frenchman and astrologist Dr. Luis Turi predicting something "shocking" on August 25th, and I also think (I was getting a bunch of static at the time) he spoke of "assassination" (not in connection with that date), which is something Art would not have allowed.  I think it took George by surprise.  He quickly changed the topic.

    Stewart Pearce discussing the human voice.  Actually kind of interesting.  George was baffled as to why people who smoke alot tend to have a raspy voice.  During open lines producer Tom picked a few questions that were "texted" in for George to answer. Real gems like, "who is your favorite guest?", and "how can we prolong [?] the end of the world?".  George also said that he had recently held a meeting with his staff concerning what steps will be taken in the event of a huge cataclysmic disaster.  Last half hour was a repeat of an interview with Glenn Kimball in honor of his passing, which was abruptly cut off by the UFO Phil song.  Very tacky.

I don't remember a specific reference to the relevant news, but there might have been a general nod in that direction. Noory seemed to portray the guest as a hero and a rebel, fighting entrenched, evil Big Pharma. He might have been oblivious to the fairly recent controversy. Maybe it was good enough that the guest attacked vaccines.

Reading your critque it hit me, like an astroroid.  Here is why George is payed what he is payed and the reason that he gets criticized on the forums a lot.  It is dumbing things down.  That could be his job.  His job is to reverse engineer complex thoughts into a remedial edition for the masses.  He does that well.  I could not do it, and you must be very intelligent to pull something like that off night after night. 
 
He takes comlex theories that are fed to him through the interview and makes it easy for the most tired person on the midnight shift to understand.  Your average listener at that time of night does not want to be thought  provoked, they want to be entertained and kept awake, but the mind does not function well and it assists the listener to get the same information, just easier.  George is a master at this.

He can't hide the fact that he's all about the doom and gloom.

Yeah,  I am previously aware of this ****(Latin derivative of wedge; starts with C & ends with T): less "factually based" than Sitchin or Hoaxland (and JEBUS! THAT is saying a LOT) and essentially every "artifact" he produces as "proof" is 1) unsubstantiated/unverified/silly-obvious fake 2) not independently studied, certified or researched by anyone with REAL credentials,(read CONSPIRACY!!!!)  3) typical "Nuri Genius Guest" gaff evidence.
