The Secret Door is a dumb gimmick, and having callers guess who the guest are is even dumber, but I liked the Psychic Twins. They've got a weird symbiosis type thing going and, according to them, they predicted the oil spill in an issue of "After Dark", and you'd think George would look it up and verify it, but that's just way too much trouble for George.
Yeah the 'secret door' show idea is just plain lame. Added to this lameness is Noory's giddiness whenever he hosts this Disney-like format.
The ONLY possible way it could be worse is to have the callers guess who the guest is...it was only a matter of time before Noory latched onto such a concept.
Could the show get any lower? It sure could. Just wait for Noory's 'future self' to become one of these secret door guests: Dexter Monterey (thankfully, I have no idea how to spell this: Horribly, I remember the damn name.)
And yes, it would behoove Noory to actually LOOK UP and VERIFY any sort of valid prediction made by a guest, especially if it appeared in his beloved afterdark newletter.
I'd like to hear the show that these twins did regarding the prediction of 9/11.
All in all, they have a really cheesy gimmick goin on and I have heard other twins (non psychically inclined, mind you) who could pull off the "finishing of each other's sentence" much better than these two...LOL... They were quite out of sync and trying to appear otherwise.
My biggest question is, who out there in Coast to Coast land actually gets off on these childishly formatted shows?
The 3 or 4 people on the nighthawk zone?
