This may be coincidental - but since I've been here I've been getting much more spam than before - most of it offering me Viagra, Soft Cialis (does anyone other than me find that oxymoronic?) and other male enhancement products.

I THOUGHT I had my email set to private.  Of course, since it's my profile I see it when I log in.  Could someone check and see if it's visible?

Thanks,

Ev

I haven't notice any more spam, but mine is already in the hundreds a day range, so I probably wouldn't.

I'm logged in, and I looked at your profile page. This is what I saw.

it certainly is coincidental, and nothing more than coincidental.  the only means of acquiring your email address from this site would be through your profile IF it were not set to hidden.  you have nothing to worry about.

i know snoory doesn't believe in them, but they do in fact exist!  heh heh

I have checked profile settings for guests... they are NOT permitted to view ANY profiles, they must login to view profiles.. also your settings are set to hide your email address.

Objective 1:  To determine impact of electronic mail address circulation.

Objective 2:  Increase paranoia.

Experiment: Provide EvB's information to various religious groups, adult web sites, magazine subscription services, and to that red-headed kid "Steven" down the street - who looks like a bird, drinks mimeograph fluid, speaks in binary, and excretes Linux spore - the crazy little F$*!#%.

Results: Noticeable/Successful.

Next Experiment: CLASSIFIED - EYES ONLY

Note(s) to self: Use mimeograph style more often.  Ink smells good.  Also safer. Changing out the black dust cartridges in the photocopier was giving me Toner Lung.  Possibly a conspiracy.  May follow up in conspiracy section of site.  Tomatoes okay to buy.  Never much doubt.  Salmonella outbreak was a biological warfare/terrorism test to determine plague vectors.  Possibly implemented via aerial aerosol.  Need more data.  More research required.  May have to cut back on Project Eve-B.  Work on my "Salmonella Rushdie and The Hydroponic Verses" joke.
