Pamela Anderson
« on: August 24, 2008, 10:11:02 PM »
Hey y'all -  I'm gonna resurrect a couple classics from my repetoire on other boards.  And by classics  I mean subjects which still bug me today as much as they did the first time Noory did whatever it was.

Does anyone hear remember the show he did with Pam Anderson and the PETA guy on for the first hour?  Man - that one hour alone presented so much fodder for this board.

Lets start with him telling Ms. Anderson  that he'd never date a woman who didn't like animals.  Then he launched into a "true story" about how he was on a date with a woman and  "I asked her if she liked animals.  She said 'no',  and then I got up and left and never saw her again."  I've heard him tell that story since then,  but honestly,  does he expect anyone to believe it?

GAH!!   WHAT AN IMBECILE !!

I remember that show! I was so embarrassed for him. He sounded like a leering pervert (the bad kind, not like phan and me). You could almost hear how uncomfortable Pamela was. Didn't she get another PETA person to come into the interview at one point?

Yeah, yeah,  she was with either ...  I think it was the VP of PETA - and this boy was queer as pink ink - which, you could tell Noory wasn't good with, however he had to tolerate it because he had Pamela Anderson on.  The guy even mentioned he was gay at one point, which Noory totally skipped over.

And he did sound like a leering pervert.

Also,  I wish the PETA people had been aware at the time that Noory was keeping that puppy of his in a fucking kennel the 9 months of the year he was in LA.  WTF,  Mates?

while i'm not surprised a PETA member is a flamer, how does one manage to specifically mention it during an interview on animal rights?  i can think of only a limited number of paths to this subject in the course of such a conversation.

Don't recall exactly -  he probably went way yonder out of his way to do so - just as Pamela said something about how he was better than a boyfriend, or something like that - that they liked to go to parties together and fuck with people.  I think both of them were a bit tipsy, high or both,  but I can't blame them.  I'd be tempted myself.  (tho' I was stone sober when I did my little radio show with him)

Holy crap. That is so embarrassing. Snoory's dating files? Who does he think he is? Why does he think anyone cares? Why ask why. I'm still considering the petition idea. Or maybe just a petition online. While those are mostly used for human rights issues, I consider this no different.

'50 dollars is 50 dollars' will be back tonight. Personally, I can't wait to hear how he spent his "use it or lose it". Maybe he was lying. Maybe he won't be back? He lies a lot, so this could be the time it works out in the audience's favor.

A gay male PETA member?! Get outta town!!!  :o

But seriously...I imagine George as a somewhat smooth operator. As long as, of course, the woman does all the talking and he just says things like "Yes!" and "I love it!".

On a side note...Do you guys think Art would have ever let PETA on the show? Sounds like a rather boring guest to me...

Art would have fed him to his pet cats and posted the pics and webcam shots. Ironic really.

I agree.  PETA is a bunch of insane terrorists who care more about their CONCEPT of animals (which is something out of Disney) than the animals themselves. Art would know that - or figure it out.

Haha. Yeah, I agree with you both. You know most PETA members are against even keeping domesticated animals like dogs and cats? I love my cat. I've given my cat the opportunity to run out the door plenty of times before...and he apparently wants to stay... (well, he's also afraid of the outside.) So fuck off PETA. My cat loves me too.

Anyways, I'd like to throw a whole busload of PETA members into the African wild. See how cute those big, loveable predatory animals are when they're hungry.

I am a major animal lover and I have a lot of beef (no pun intended) with PETA. I agree with their mission - ethical treatment is right on. However, I like the Humane Society's approach much more. They are very clear about the fact that our mistreatment of animals effects human life. Mad cow disease is just the tip of the iceberg. I think PETA sucks because their crappy idiotic approach ENCOURAGES animal abuse and apathy about animals issues. I won't give them a CENT of my money, I'd rather spend that money on fostering animals, or even my streamlink account with Snoory.

I agree. PETA is the stupidest but unfortunately probably the most visible one of the bunch. I'm all about the Humane Society.

the problem with peta is that they believe animals have rights.  and in a literal sense, too.  animals DO NOT have rights because they are incapable of understanding the responsibilities that come along with having rights.  rather than talking about issues of animal rights, peta should be talking about human responsibility to treat animals properly.  die, peta.  die.
